How we price
Pricing is shaped by three dials: the bundle you pick (which determines the feature set), the size of your team building and using apps, and any add-on modules you need. Features are gated by bundle, not by usage meters - so you can build without worrying about overages. Higher bundles unlock more advanced capabilities; modules like multi-tenant are optional bolt-ons available across all tiers.

Do you charge per end-user? +
We split pricing between builders (the people designing and managing apps in the xMS Designer) and end users (the people using the apps you've built). End-user seats are priced differently - often flat-rate at the tenant level - so you don't get punished for scale. We'll walk through the specifics on your quote.
What counts as a "builder"? +
A builder is anyone with access to the xMS Designer - the person creating resources, setting up pages, defining permissions, and managing versions. Typical teams have a handful of builders and a much larger base of end users.
Can we start with a pilot? +
Yes. Most of our customers begin with a single-app pilot on Professional, then expand to the rest of their organisation once it's proven out. We'll help you scope the pilot in the demo.
Are there usage overages? +
No surprise bills. Features are gated by bundle, not metered by usage. The one thing we meter on its own is AI consumption - it's bundled into every tier, but shown separately so you always know at a glance how much AI is being used across the Designer and your app's AI functions. If you're consistently pushing the top of your allocation, we'll talk to you about sizing up rather than ambush you with an overage.
Can we self-host xMS? +
Yes - self-host is available on the Enterprise bundle. Because xMS is built on Supabase and PostgreSQL (both open source), you can run the whole stack in your own cloud, on-prem, or in a specific region to meet data sovereignty requirements.
What happens when we outgrow a tier? +
You move up. Bundle changes are mid-term - no waiting until renewal. Your apps, data, permissions, and configuration carry over without any re-build.
